Recognition of prior learning / recognition of current competence
Recognition of prior learning (RPL) is a process whereby through assessment,credit is given to learning which has been previously acquired in different ways-other than formal training. Trainees are awarded a competence certificate upon successfully demonstrating their previously acquired skills.
