The Construction Industry Trust Fund (CITF) is a Joint Project between the Ministry of Employment Labour Productivity & Skills Development and the Allied Industry of Botswana. It operates from an established Training Institution situated in Gaborone, Botswana. Our aim is to
provide the Industry with locally trained, competent manpower in order to maximise use and engagement of Botswana Citizens.

 

FACILITATORS (ONE YEAR CONTRACT)

 

REF: CI/002/13 VOL. XIV (22)
We require energetic, self-motivated, innovative, citizen Facilitators to
optimally run training programmes for the Satelite Centres in the
following fields.

  •  1 x Bricklayer / Plasterer – Khakhea Satelite Centre
  •  1 x Bricklayer / Plasterer – Bokspits Satelite Centre
  • 1 x Bricklayer / Plasterer – Kazungula Satelite Centre

 

 

QUALIFICATION / EXPERIENCE

  •  National Craft Certificate, Technical fields / Diploma in above field or equivalent certificate at Level 3 from a recognized training institution.
  • At least 6 years relevant practical industrial experience
  •  Experience in Competency Based Modular Training (CBMT) practitioner an added advantage
  •  First Aid or Health and Safety Certificate would be an added advantage
  •  Botswana Qualification Authority (BQA) ) registered as a Trainer and Assessor would be an added advantage

 

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS

  •  Conducts skills training, practical task competencies and
    knowledge based
  •  Assessment in the workshop on-site training and testing time
    in the above fields.
  • Develops trainee’s character and productive work habits for
    the industry.
  •  Supervises and implements industry standards and
    acknowledge mastery of competency levels of trainees
  • Provides data for daily, weekly and monthly training records for
    trainees and submit reports
  •  Plans and prepares demonstration aids and materials for
    practical tasks
  • Maintains safety procedure within the workshop and on-site

SALARY SCALE: CITF Band 7 (P199 608.00 – P237 456.00) per annum
