HOW LONG ARE THE COURSES ?
Since emphasis is placed on the acquisition of practical competencies that are specific to the building industry, CITF is able to produce a fully semi skilled trained artisan through the use of crash training competency based instruction within a period of 4 to 12 weeks.
WHAT ARE THE ENTRY REQUIREMENTS?
There are no specific qualifications needed for one to enrol for these trades. For Supervisory Training course, one will have to be conversant in English. The course is aimed at construction foremen.
HOW MUCH ARE THE COURSE FEES?
Those sent by the industry and the unemployed are covered by levy paid by construction industry. A minimal fee of P130.00 (One hundred and thirty pula) per task is required for trainees from other institutions besides the industry.
IS ACCOMODATION PROVIDED FOR STUDENTS?
Unfortunately, CITF does not provide accommodation for people attending courses at the institute.
WHO USES CITF?
Construction companies and other allied industries send their employees for training. However, individuals interested in construction are encouraged to apply in order to acquire the skills necessary to assist in getting a construction job. However, priority is given to companies.
